Dental Implants
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are small fixtures placed into the jaw bone to replace the roots of missing teeth. The dental implant appears, feels and functions just like a real tooth.
Nowadays, it is a popular replacement solution for many whose teeth are missing or decayed beyond repair. The procedure is highly reliable with a good long-term success rate.
Contrary to expectation, age is not necessarily a limiting factor. Our oldest implant patient is over 80 years old. One of the implant systems offered here at TS Dental Care is a Swiss implant with promising research in diabetic patients and smokers.
3D DIGITAL IMPLANT PLANNING AND KEYHOLE COMPUTER GUIDED SURGERY
We offer our patients safe treatment using 3D implant planning and guided surgery.
We first take 3D cone beam scans with minimal radiation exposure. We can then plan precise implant positioning digitally to safely avoid vital structures.
Complex cases might require computer guided surgery with 3D printed stents. Keyhole surgery may also be suitable which means smaller incisions and faster recovery.
HIGH QUALITY IMPLANT COMPONENTS
Straumann is a Swiss implant company with a history of over 35 years and extensive research.
Their Roxolid implants is one of the strongest and most fracture-resistant in the market.
Their SLA active surface range has shown promising results in even patients with radiotherapy, diabetes and smoking histories.
CONCENTRATED GROWTH FACTORS (CGF)
Bone grafting may be required for a better success in certain dental implant cases. In our clinic, we harness Concentrated Growth Factors (CGF) from your own body without any chemical additives to enhance healing in such cases.
Concentrated Growth Factors are a concentrated network of these platelets, fibrin and growth proteins. By taking a small amount of your blood and placing it into a specially programmed centrifuge, we are able to separate and concentrate these to enhance the procedure and natural healing.
